Baked salted turkey

Ingredients

  • turkey breast, piece - 1 kg
  • salt - 3 heaped tablespoons
  • spices to taste
  • vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp

Cooking method

Prepare a strong brine solution by pouring water into a large bowl (so the turkey is submerged), generously salting it, and stirring it.

Place the turkey in the brine solution and leave for at least 2 hours or longer (up to a day).

Remove the turkey from the bowl and pat dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix the oil, spices, and a little salt to a paste. Coat the turkey with the mixture.

Place the turkey in the oven, preheated to the highest possible temperature, for 20-30 minutes.

Then turn off the oven and let it cool completely (preferably 6 hours, no less) without opening it.
