Mix rolled oats, milk (or yoghurt, kefir, or plant-based milk), sugar, chia seeds, salt and spices in a bowl, cover with cling film and leave in the fridge overnight. In the morning, stir, and add more sugar if it’s not sweet enough, or more milk if it’s too thick. Spoon into a serving glass, top with nuts, fruit and berries, and drizzle with good balsamic vinegar. You can sprinkle a little icing sugar on top, but just a bit.
